Service Description

5pm - 7pm Grab your yarm and needles and come on down to the Quirkshop for an evening of loopy education. Are you interested in demystifying knits and purls? Have you been looking for an outlet to de-stress or a hobby to make binge TV watching productive? Knitting 101 is the place to start. Taught by local knitting maven, Mary Helen Davis aka KnitoriousGRL we will cover basic knitting from casting on to knit and purl stitch and beyond. No needles no yarn? No worries, you can purchase a kit at the beginning of class to get you started, or just borrow some of ours.
